How long will the photo session last?
Typically, a family or individual portrait photo session takes up to 2 hours but since kids can be unpredictable sometimes there is no strict time limitation.
Pre-wedding session requires a more extended time so it normally lasts 6-8 hours.
Where is the location of the shoot?
The shoot can be held at your place or at any location of your choice. Please keep in mind that for outdoor shoots the best time is early morning or late afternoon hours.
What should we wear?
You may only have professional photographs made once in several years. Why compromise on what you wear? It only takes a little preparation to ensure everyone is dressed properly – so that everyone’s clothes complement each other, colours don’t clash and there are no flip flops in sight!
General guidelines for family and individual portraits:
- coordinate colors and style but do not make it matchy-matchy
- go for layers and textures
- choose solid colors
- say “NO!” to large patterns, logos, stripes
- say “YES!” to denim and trendy accessories
- long sleeves and long pants is always a good choice
- most important: wear clothes you feel comfortable in!
If you’re unsure about the favourite sweater that your grandma knitted, send us a photo. We’ll let you know if it’s right for the shoot!
Can you arrange a professional make-up artist before the session?
When you need to make sure you look your best in front of the camera, professional stylists can be brought in to the photo session. Our hair and make-up styling partners are chosen for their creative skills to ensure you get the look and style desired.
When can we view our photos?
Your image gallery will be available for viewing 7-10 days after the photo session day.
We would like to have a photo album and some canvas wraps after a session. Can you help us with that?
Absolutely. Professionally designed albums, high quality canvases and prints are available on request.
